Marilynn and Barbara are hobbiest breeders and friends (south-west Pennsylvania) who have teamed up together in our best efforts to provide you the consumer with a healthy, happy & loving Dachshund puppy. With our socialization techniques and hands on, it really makes a difference that shows. Our puppies are handled from birth everyday until the time they go home. We let our puppies go home when ready at 7-1/2 to 8 wks. old. Our Puppies are raised with children in the home (Marilynn) or grandchildren nearby (Barbara). We have 100% satisfaction to date. Your puppy is in good hands with us even before birth, Mom gets everything she needs to be pampered throughout her pregnancy. When it comes time for Mom to give birth, "Our ladies never free whelp", we are dedicated and there even if it takes all night from the onset of labor until completion. What does Le Caring's have to offer you?
Dachshunds are our passion! Breeding for health is key, temperament and confirmation. We specialize in the dappled pattern. We also raise solid colored (no pattern) Dachshunds. We raise smooth and long haired Dachshund varieties in 2 sizes primarily. We have miniatures 11 lbs. or less by age one, tweenie size 12-15 lbs. Sorry we carry no standards 16-32 lbs. After almost a decade of experience in raising this breed, researching and knowing the lineage, this makes for predictable offspring. We breed mainly traditional Dachshunds colors: black & tan, reds of many shades, chocolate and tan & now cream. We have had some clear red with no black hairs through the coat, dilute reds, & chocolate based reds that are carrying for chocolate. We have found a cream male with an excellent pedigree, however we are still searching for a cream female to complete the matching set. Keeping excellence in mind, we only raise Dachshunds registered with The American Kennel Club to provide you with a good quality purebred. All of our males have champion bloodlines and most of our girls too. All of our Dachshunds pedigrees are open for public viewing, See AKC pedigrees. We take pride in our dogs! We will email pictures each week, puppy's new weight and an update about your new puppy. Barbara is setup for pictures. Marilynn has streaming video clips, pictures and is open to LIVE puppy visiting through Yahoo messenger but, only during daytime hours. All of our puppies are Vet checked by 7-8 wks. of age (sooner if needed) & receive their comprehensive exams covering eyes, ears, gums/teeth, bite alignment, hips, hernia checks final weight, receive 1st vaccines & stool is tested, each pup is dewormed again even if test shows negative.
We provide to families willing to drive for their new pet!!

| We do not & WILL NOT knowingly sell to puppy mills, puppy brokers, backyard breeders, pet stores, kennels or any undesirable such places. Having said that, anyone who intends to buy a puppy from us will need to provide their full name, address, telephone number and email address prior to pickup. We reserve the right to see photo ID. For the Love of our puppies and this breed, we wouldn't want them getting into the wrong hands, speaking of the undesirable places mentioned above. We prefer to place our puppies in family homes however, if you are a reputable breeder of Dachshunds dedicated to breed improvement, we would make "special" sale considerations. Must have good references!

It is our preference NOT to ever ship our puppies. Shipping could be tramatizing to a puppy. The puppy suddenly leaves his whole world (breeders home), then boards an aircraft (where cargo is stored) inside of a dark crate. He's petrified! He eventually meets his new family shivering, upset or worse. Flights are sometimes cancelled or delayed due to the weather or other circumstances. This would be stressful to us also. In our opinion, shipping is for non-living packages. Meeting the families, looking into their eyes, shaking their hands and watching the excitement when they pick up their new puppy are all experiences we do not want to miss. As a new puppy buyer, TIP: It is of main importantance to SEE where your new puppy lived, meet the parents & the breeder to ensure he/she is a fit breeder. We had many families drive far distances to get their new puppy from us. We take pride in our policies!
Deposit Information/Printable Online Deposit Contract
Step One: If you see a puppy that you're interested in please call either Barbara or myself (Marilynn). The Breeder's info will be at the bottom of each litter page. Step Two: Confirm puppy availability by email or phone. We will need to talk to you on the phone next, at this point we will then exchange address information etc. If local we'll set up a time/day for you to come over to see the puppies. It is not necessary however for 2 trips if you are coming long distance, save your gas money. Step Three: Print our puppy deposit contract. (see link below) When you click on our deposit contract below, it will start out full size then minimize small. Right click on it and save it as a picture file, locate file on your computer and print. Step Four: Print your name underneath buyer/owner, sign on the above line and date beside your signature. Mail your printed/signed contract along with your puppy deposit fee. If you don't have a printer, you will be asked to mail your puppy deposit ASAP while under verbal agreement. We will mail our deposit contract to you when your deposit is received. If agreed, we will place the puppy of your choice "on hold". If you Reside in another State: Your deposit should be paid by U.S. Postal Money Order. You can purchase one at your local Post office. We appreciate your time in doing so. Locals: If you can come see the puppies (no sooner than 3 wks. of age for serious inquiries only) you should deposit by cash, no personal checks! If coming in person to deposit, we'll provide you with our puppy deposit contract as your receipt too. Final payment: should be paid in full and by cash only when taking your new puppy home.
