Snicker's was 1 year old when I acquired him. Unfortunately with attempts to get pictures of Snicker's parents from the breeder, I have not been successful. Here's a puppy pic of him though at 5 mos.. I snapped this picture from a wall picture at the breeder's home. 

He's of course the only chocolate & tan puppy.

In 5 generations (parents pedigrees) including 120 Dachshunds originating from United Kingdom, Canada, Japan and the United States. Otto's genetics are as follows 80 of 120 are creams, 20 of 120 are black & tan, 16 of 120 are red and 4 of 120  are chocolate and tan,  way off in the distance. Special, Otto's Mom was cream sired. She is listed as a black & tan on her pedigree but, her points look more cream than tan to me.  Otto's Dad-call name Buster is full cream with 49 creams out of 60 Dachshunds on his pedigree. Champion Bloodlines! I am raising Otto up from a puppy and he is a joy to have! He is from Greensburg, Indiana.
