Baby Bailey aka Splash
I have a funny story for you about Bailey.
You know how every woman has a favorite flower? Some prefer roses, some prefer carnations, and some others even prefer pansies. Well, one of my favorites is sunflowers. I had intended to plant some this year, but never quite got around to it. Which ended up being ok because from all of my bird feeders around the yard, sunflower seeds got scattered around in all different locations. It actually was quite neat! Because they sprouted and grew just as though I had intentionally planted them myself. As the summer progressed I hung them up to dry for the birds. Especially because my goldfinches love them. Well, you know how every woman wants the love of her life to bring her flowers just because he wants to, not because its her birthday or anniversary? Not because she has had to nag him or anything? In your case it would be Michael. Now close your eyes, and imagine that age old picture that most times you see in commercials anymore, where the love of your life, again that being Michael, is running to you out in an open field with eyes only for you. Because after all, you are the love of his life too. And as he is running to you, so full of love and devotion, he has your favorite flower in his mouth. You know the commercials where the guy always has the rose between his teeth? Well, in your case, Michael would be running to you with whatever your favorite flower is. In my case, its Bailey. One of the sunflowers had fallen down, and he was running to me with it between his teeth just like in the commercials. What made it so cute was this; picture how tall sunflowers get. It was several feet longer than him. But here he came just running as fast as his little legs would take him. So full of love and devotion!! He presented it so nicely! That is, until I reached down to take it away from him. Then he ran like mad in the opposite direction!! Oh well, it was the thought that counted right? LOL!!! I adore this dog. He is so funny. I cannot tell you the joy he brings to my life.

Baby Crosby aka Conner
I just wanted to send you an email to give you an update on Conner...who as I thought was renamed Crosby by my husband. He is the best puppy anyone could ask for! Travis was blown away by his surprise and the little guy has become his pride and joy. We both can't believe how good he is and how well he listens to us. He is also doing very well with using his potty pads and rarely has any accidents. I have heard that Doxies are very difficult to house train but find it hard to believe because Crosby has been so easy thanks to you!He went to the vet on Thursday and had a perfect check up. He got started on Heartgard and Frontline and weighs in at 3.3lbs. Crosby has quickly become very spoiled, and receives lots of love and attention from everyone he meets. They all can't get over how adorable and also how tiny he is. He is very playful and VERY smart! He knows exactly where all his toys are kept and quickly picked up how to play fetch. Since he doesn't have all his shots (and due to the large amount of dogs inour neighborhood) we haven't taken him out for a walk yet so I don't know how he does on a leash. But getting him to wear a collar has been an adventure. He hates it! We put it on him for a little bit at a time, increasing the time each day. The first few days he would paw at it non-stop, now he only paws at it once and a while so I think he is starting to tolerate it more. Also, with my parent's dog it was always easy to tell where he was at in the house or yard because you could hear the jingle of the ID tags. Well, the one we bought Crosby is too big and drags on the ground, so for right now he wears a cat bell I included a few photos of him that were taken this afternoon, he is very hard to take a picture of because he is so squirmy and always moving so this is the best I can give you right now. Feel free to put them on your website if you'd like! We couldn't ask for a more perfect puppy though! Thank you so much for all the time and love you give to care for your puppies before sending them home, it really shows because Crosby is wonderful! Have a great weekend!

Baby Vienna aka Ellie Mae
Just letting you know how much fun we have been having with Vienna (a.k.a. Ellie Mae) and how she is doing. Vienna is still quite a cutie (head to TAIL!)and nothing short of perpetual motion, the springs in her legs show no signs of fatigue! She had a brief rest, until the anesthetic wore off, after her spaying last month. Vienna did not appear at all happy with what we had done to her, but seems to have forgiven us!?Her BIG teeth are moving in, and they get quite a work out. She can, and with a passion, destroy any toy she chooses. For such a cute little dog she has HUGE teeth. She reminds us of a tyrannosauras rex…..tiny head with big scary teeth! She is doing well with general commands; Allison is working on the tricky stuff. Her hearing is incredible even when asleep or at the end of the yard, if I slightly jiggle her glass treat jar she bolts to it. Thanks again for a wonderful Dachshund! We plan to get some pics to you soon.

Thanks for the pictures. They are adorable! She had a good evening, and I think she will adjust to sleeping in her crate at night in time. She has a good time running circles in our kitchen/family room with the boys. Right now she's curled up in a shaft of sunlight on the floor. She seems like such a gentle little soul. Baby Chester
I don't have any pix right now but I wanted to let you know how Chester was doing. Well, he's doing great. Getting bigger and the dachshund more defined - very very cute. He always gets compliments on his coat and how cute he is. Last weekend, we were at the cottage and my cousin and her husband were there with their 6 month old German Shepard pup - who is as big as a full grown lab - and they played and played. It was very strange to see this huge puppy playing with tiny little Chester. Very special. Also, he and Charley have broken their ice and are getting along great. Charley still young enough that he enjoys play time too, but when he wants to stop, Chester keeps going and then Charley has to assert his Alpha. Potty training is coming along; he still has accidents, but we're all getting better at it. It will come in time. Right now he's up on the back of the couch tasking a nap. I will give him a kiss and snuggle and say it's from you.

We have officially named her Miley. She is doing wonderfully and getting along great with our other dog. I will send some pictures in a couple of days. We are ALL in love with her. My husband made the comment that he would consider getting another one, this time a short haired one. We are extremely thankful to you for fulfilling our dream of owning another puppy.

Miley had a visit to the doctor on Monday and everything went well. She weighs in at 4.1 pounds and he put her on heartworm preventive medicine. She will get a pill once a month. He recommended it because we have little kids. I thought it was a good idea too, I wouldn't want them to get sick either. Miley is loving her new home and everyone here. She really responds to her name now and cries when Mini (our other dog) isn't around or won't sleep with her in their bed. Mini has really taken a liking to her, Miley follows her around and like I said, they even share a bed. Miley won't sleep in the bed if Mini isn't with her. We are so extremely happy that they are getting along and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you so very much. I will try to get pictures sent as soon as I can, everyone in the family is asking for one too.

I just wanted to update you on Joey in case you miss him a lot. He's doing extremely well and he's learning so much. He's actually not very shy around anybody. Joey and Sirus are getting along great too! They act like brothers so much. They both play together and they act so much alike. I just wanted to update you on them. Sorry I didn't get to send you pictures of them yet. I'm still learning how to upload the photos on this computer because it's new and everything is different on it. Thank you for all of the pictures!!! I would certainly like more too. Vienna is currently sleeping in my lap as I am typing. She did excellent in the car yesterday for the long trip back to Baltimore. She had a very good night. She was so busy smelling all of the new smells in the house. She has been a belly full of laughs already and many more to come! She discovered a bird today and it was the funniest thing ever.. Thank you again for this wonderful puppy. Baby Bailey"The Duck" LOL!
I am sending you several pictures of Bailey!! I transferred them off of my camera phone so hopefully the quality of them is ok. He is absolutely adorable. I'm sure I have not told you this yet, LOL, but I sure do love that dog. Did his mother by chance eat a duck during her pregnancy? Or possibly she was a duck in another life? Or maybe she dreamed of ducks while she was pregnant?? Just teasing!! Bailey thinks he is part duck! He absolutely loves water. He sees water and turns into a different little boy!! He can't get to it quick enough, play in it enough, or chase it from the water hose enough!! He adores it. That litter of Barbara's was gorgeous! I really enjoyed watching that litter grow up. I really appreciate your website. It brings me such joy. All of your litters end up being beautiful. Everyone that I know that looks at your litters thinks the same thing!
Well, have to go see what Bailey is up to. He is being toooooo quiet. You know what that means!

Dutch is a wonderful dog. He & Cocoa are best buddies. Dutch has a cute bark and follows Cocoa everywhere. We put up a fence so that Dutch & Cocoa can be outside safely. Baby Bailey aka Adele
We just wanted to send you an update on Bailey aka Little Adele aka A-dele-of the Hun. She is doing great, and she has already let our cats know who the boss is. Bailey and our cat Billy Bob have become great friends, their favorite game is tag. Well, Bailey's favorite game is tag we're not so sure about Billy Bob, but he plays along. Our Great Dane Kylie is very protective of her baby sister, and is always keeping the watchful eye. In fact whenever I take Bailey out for a walk Kylie will just sit and stare out the window like a worried mother until we return. It's very endearing. We couldn't be happier, Bailey is so adorable and the whole neighborhood comments on how cute she is as we take our walks. But we made sure she is not just another pretty face, she's a working dog too. She is the new mascot of Chester Brook Academy. She also is such a help around the house. She picks up my laundry, shoes, anything I leave on the floor really, and puts it in her dog house shaped bed. It's getting rather cluttered in there for her, she barely fits. But my floors have never looked better. We enclosed some pictures of Bailey for you to have, and we just want to thank you again. She is beautiful, smart and loving. What a Great puppy!

It is good to hear from you. I've been wanting to email you. Ebony is doing great. We just love her. She is such a sweetheart. She loves everyone. I have attached a couple of pictures of the two girls and I will send more later. She is such a good puppy. Potty training is on-going which is to be expected. I am off this coming week and am looking forward to spending more time with her. When we took her to the vet for her second set of shots she weighed 5.5 pounds. I'm guessing she now weighs around 7 pounds at least. She is really getting big. I hope you have a good holiday

I have searched and searched for some way, some how, some thing, to convey to you how thankful I am that you came into my life. Bailey is the greatest dog I have ever owned. I appreciate so much how honest and truthful you are about the personalities of your puppies. Thank you so much for what you do. The quality time that you spend with your puppies and adult dogs shows! You seem to know them as well as you know your own name. There are countless breeders out there who would not have cared one little bit about what I wanted in a puppy. They only care about the money. They would have said anything to have made the sale. You listen and then you make it happen. You are like a fairy godmother for people and puppies. My wishes seem to be your commands and then you wave your doxie wand, and "poof", all of my doxie dreams come true. There must be magic in that doxie heart of yours!!! LOL. I left you a review on puppyfind.com. My only regret is that they limit me to a thousand characters or less. I must protest. For someone like me, who loves these dogs as much as I do, that is not nearly enough to say everything I want to say. I have to edit and edit, and re-edit. The prompt keeps saying "too many characters, please limit." I hate that feeling because I feel like my hands and thoughts are being handicapped when I try to leave you a review. So, I choose to email you on top of the review. And even now, as I sit here trying my hardest to use words to show you how I feel, it still seems so inadequate. It still is not enough. These dogs bring me so much pleasure. I just hope you realize what a difference you are making in not just my life, but the lives of others as well. If you should ever have a "down" day, or start to doubt what you are doing, please, just go back and read all of your reviews from everyone. Let their words speak the magic back into your heart. Because if ever you were to quit doing this, the world would be a much sadder place to live in for all of us who love doxies, and support you and your dream.

All is well here. Mocha is growing fast. She is a love.Our Son had a great time with her on his R and R. Here are some new photos. They are wonderful! They make us laugh everyday. We are so in love with them. They have been getting along really well together. It is great to see them play and sleep next to each other. They absolutely hate to be separated! When you let one out, you have to let the other out or she whines until you do. They don't seem to be growing very big, they still look like puppies. Miley has her long body but Maddie isn't quite there yet. The kids are in heaven and just love them to death. They seem to know when they get off of the bus from school. I wanted to update you on our precious sweetie, Kaylie. Thank you, Thank you for the wonderful preparation you gave her for coming home. She is the BEST puppy. We had overnight guest this weekend and they were so impressed with how good she is! The car ride home Friday was a fun & silly adventure. She did a lot of whining and made little snort sounds (like a piggy), while trying to howl. We just laughed. We stopped at Jay's moms, so Kaylie could meet her Grammy. She was so good at her house and played well. When we got back in the car for the remaining trip home, she wedged herself between my shoulders and the seat and fell asleep w/in seconds and slept the rest of the way home. She ran around excitedly at her new surroundings, when we got home. We only stayed up about an hour, then off to bed. We put her in her crate that had a lambs wool lining, (scented w/Purex Mountain Breeze), her blanket from you, and the toy stuffed fish. She got herself pretty worked up for an hour or so. I finally got on the floor, put my hand in the crate, she quieted right down and slept for a few hours. We got up, I put her on the potty pad and told her to go potty, she went, and back to bed we went. She slept w/me beside her until early morning. We got up about 6:00am, she pottied on the pad again, ate a little, then we played. We were up 40 minutes and then back to bed until 8:30am. Then we were up for the day.I'll save you from all of the monotonous details and just say, she has been the best. She has gone on the potty pads consistently, both pee & poo. She had two slight misses, where she was half on - half off the pad. She sleeps in her crate at night with little fuss. I did put the crate on a large, sturdy end table we brought into the room, so she could be closer to us. She's doing beautifully. She has the sweetest disposition and is working feverously on making friends with our two cats. We registered her on-line. I made an appointment w/my old vet for her first visit. I'll let you know how the visit goes. We are so happy with our beautiful, sweet, Kaylie! Thank you again for all of your hard work and effort. Our puppy is well on her way to potty training, and so smart. We can't believe it, she plays fetch already. We squeek and toss her ball, telling her to "get the ball", she runs and gets it, we say "bring the ball" and she brings it back. We are having so much fun with her! Thank you! Jay & Erin H. (Kaylie- Stella & Snicker's Daughter) Lily had a pretty good night. I only heard Quinn walk her twice during the night. She wanted up for the day at 7:00 this morning and I was ready for her-anytime I can sleep till 7 with a new puppy I feel great!! What a Happy Mother's Day for me!!! So far she has eaten, pee peed, and pooped...Wow !! Our dog Titus, I believe, is teaching her well already. You should see the two of them run around the dining room table-Yes, Lily chasing Titus!! Hysterical!! Somehow I knew she would have the upper hand with him-he's such a gentle soul. We have already explored the back yard twice this morning and she is now exhausted in her first floor crate taking her nap(she took 2 naps for us yesterday in it as well). What a good girl she is!!! Thanks for the pictures, how cute. She sometimes sleeps on her back but not too much anymore. Thank heavens you pay such good attention to your puppies and picked up on her weight loss, and you took such good care of her. Her tail is adorable. It is so thick. It is much thicker than Ember's tail (her companion) and she still has the curl on the end although it has split some since it has gotten longer. She does have such a sweet face and personality. She loves everyone. She has the cutest growl/bark when she wants Ember to play with her. She talks. It is so adorable. I should try to video it sometime and send it to you but I don't know how well that would work...maybe I'll try sometime. It sounds like she is still smaller than her litter mates. We only have Ember to compare to. Our neighbor has an English Cream that is a few weeks older than Ebony. I haven't seen her for awhile, I would like to get them together to play. Everyone is so busy it is hard to coordinate schedules. It would be fun if our friends end up getting one of your puppies to come with them either when they pick it up or if they just come to look first and bring Ebony. I wanted to give you an update on Vienna. She is doing very well! She has such an amazing personality and she loves to play. We have to buy her soft toys constantly because she tears them up in minutes! I think she has finally reached her full grown size. She was spayed back in August and you can't even see her scar at all. Hope all is well on your end. Please find a picture attached. Oh, and I forgot to mention that she learned how to sit, stay, come, give paw, and speak.

Crosby has been so good with going on the puppy pee pad. He goes on it almost every single time. He gets along with Joey and Sirus great! Just sending a little update on Suzie and some pictures. She just had her second Vet appointment last Saturday and all is well, she is very healthy and quite active. Suzie has really taken to my other Dachound (Lucy) follows her everywhere she goes even takes her for walks in my yard, I put the leash on Lucy and Suzie pulls her wherever she wants to go. Last Saturday at the Vet she weighed in at 4 lbs 2 oz. ---I have had a lot of my friends ask where I got Suzie and they may be sending you e-mails as to wanting one in the future, you never know. I am going to send e-mails to her other two sisters owners also with pictures, I would like to see what Gabby and Noel look like at this time. So when is your next litter due? My son Dan from California wants me to bring Suzie out to LA have her photod and a video made, he said he may get her in some type of Dog commercial, that would be pretty neat. Well I am not as good taking pictures of puppies as you are, Suzie don't sit still for very long but I will send you more as a get them. Hope to hear back from you, take care

Thank you for sending me the info on the website. I looked it up and was looking at the pictures of Snickers and Isabella. Chester is a real beauty. His hair is growing in fuller and fuller and the color and shine is gorgeous. And .... he has his momma's face. Though Snickers is one handsome little guy, Isabella has a very, very nice face and Chester got his from her. He is a very sweet and smart little dog and we love him dearly. One of his favorite things is sitting on a cushion on the patio where ever there is a sun beam. We are very happy with him. Congratulations on your upcoming litters. We've not had Chester fixed yet thinking that we may stud him out but I haven't done anything to pursue that yet. Not real sure where to start. I don't want to just put an ad in the paper, you know? We'll see - if it's meant to happen it will.

She can perform many tricks now! She can sit, stay, lay down, give paw, give a kiss (she jumps into the air and kisses you), dead dog (you shoot a gun at her and she lays down), and speaks. I started to write my review, THEN a little puppy started distracting me to play with him. That Dudley is so irresistable! That's why it was late. I posted it tonight. He is such a good puppy. So loving and playful. I love his personality. He even likes his crate already. I've made it very cozy for him. He even sleeps with his own teddy bear. My husband tells Dudley he hit the jackpot with an owner like me! He "knows" how much I love my pets! Today, Dudley played with two of my bunnies. He loves them!!!!! He sniffs them and they sniff him back. They're very curious about him. He wags his tail so fast and then they play hide and seek and chase. (I always supervise though.) We made it home. Yes, there was quite a bit of whining, but there was a fair bit of sleeping, too. The introductions to her new brothers and sisters are going surprisingly well. My dog, Aska, has found her new best playmate. Gretel was a little hesitant at first; Aska's about 65 lbs. But she got over that pretty quickly, now they're getting along famously. We just have to watch closely, because we don't want Aska to step on her by mistake or something. I'm shocked at how well the cats are handling things. They've almost all been in the living room to sniff things out. I thought they'd all hide out in the bedrooms for the day. Pixie, the only one I expected to maybe see today, has almost touched noses with Gretel. And it was Gretel that came up to her, and just before they touched, Pixie ran. He just wasn't quite ready for that yet. Gretel's sacked out on the couch with us right now. She's had an exhausting day. But all is going quite well. I'll send pictures soon

Great to hear from you! You are very welcome about the referral. I actually did not know Jodi until a few weeks ago. Travis and I were at a cookout with Crosby and she came over to ask me about him. She couldn't get over how adorable he was and wanted to know where I got him since she had been looking at getting a mini dox to replace one she had lost. I told her I know just the woman to talk to! I'm glad she contacted you!
I am sorry I have not contacted you in a long time, I need to do a better job at staying in touch. Crosby is doing wonderful! He is such a happy dog! He still barks when he plays and gives "kisses" when he is held. He also spins in circles when he is excited and loves to burrow into anything he can, blankets, pillows, laundry baskets, you name it. He also discovered that if he crawls on his belly he can fit underneath the chair in our living room. So when he wants some alone time he goes under there but keeps his snout out so he can still keep an eye on everything. Health wise he is also great. He is still really little. We took him to the vet last month and he only weighs 7.5lbs. The vet said we are feeding him enough and that everything else is fine, he is just small. He had 2 baby teeth that were retained after his adult teeth came in; He ended up losing the one but the other one is still there. The vet said it may have to be pulled eventually.
He was neutered when he was 6 months old and recovered perfectly. Haha we had to watch him though because even though we had a cone collar on him his body was so long that he could still reach the area. Potty training also went great and he goes outside without any accidents in the house.

My mother-in-law is in an assisted living facility and Fritzy has been there for three visits so far. Even though he isn't a trained therapy dog, he is doing the job anyway. The residents love him there, especially since he is so sweet and gentle. My mother-in-law always had dogs so she really loves the visits. Fritzy starts puppy kindergarten tonight. Marilynn, I'm so glad all is going well. I would like to have Fritzy certified as a therapy dog so we could do volunteer work together. He is definitely a loverboy through and through.
