Taffy
Lil' Snickers
At four months and counting Snickers is slightly over 9 # and Taffy follows at about 7 1/2 #. Both are driving Sandy crazy in a nice way. Taffy still tries to beat up on Snickers by biting his ears all the time. Of course nobody will take that for long and his true alpha dog attitude emerges and she backs off. Both scheduled for "fixes" in February. Should be interesting!! The attached pics are for your enjoyment. Sandy wants to know how you get your dogs to hold still long enough to take pictures? Have a Merry Christmas.

Baby Daisy, formerly Deanna when here
This is Milo and Daisy waiting for Santa. They have become best friends. Miss Daisy loves to cause trouble!!! Some of her favorite activities when not stealing toys from Milo, are barking, digging and just looking adorable!!Checking in to getting her spayed, my current vet wants $480.00 for the procedure going to check with humane society. Hope you had a good holiday and have a Happy New Year!!

Baby Murphy
Thought I'd send you a few pics of Murphy. He's getting so big, he's at least half Jerry's size now, and his fur is getting long and wavy. He loves to play in the snow, which is weird to me because Jerry hates snow and rain! He and Jerry get along, except when it comes to toys. Jerry still doesn't know how to share. Murphy follows me where ever I go and loves to lick my face and chew on my nose. I think he knows what "no bite" means but he ignores it! He also sits on my chest/neck/face whenever he can. Jerry is very patient and waits his turn, but it's hard because Murphy hogs all of the attention! He's very spoiled, but it's so hard not to spoil him! There are a few pics and a video attached. This picture of our boys was taken with our daughter just yesterday. Fritz and Ozzy love each other a lot. Fritz is very patient even when Ozzy bites his tail! They are never apart. I have some grooming questions. Do you groom your own longhaired dogs or do you have them professionally groomed? What type of comb or brush is best? Do you trim the hair on their paws? Thanks.

Since we are coming up on a year, I wanted to write and wish Omar and Bodie's sister, Gypsy Rose a happy first birthday! Also, I wasn't sure if you had any pictures from when the boys were with you before we got to take them home. I'm, of course, a proud parent and wanted to make a scrapbook of them. Anything would be appreciated. They boys are doing great and could not love the snow any more. Even though it's been a little deep, Bodie pushes his way through to make a path and Omar then follows him. It's a pretty good system. This one is Bodie hanging out with their friends Dublin and Murray. Thank you, Omar in the back and Bodie in the front! Lily's not really sure what to do with all the snow. I LOVE it-we have created a huge "playpen" in the back yard for Lily to go to the bathroom in. This keeps her confined. She is doing very well with the puppy pad, so far she just has had two accidents. I have her set up in the circle fencing thing I got, with the puppy pad on one side and her bed and toys on the other. She cried for most of the night. I left the tv on and she found comfort in her red blanket you gave her, but she still cried. Do you have any recommendations for how to get her to sleep better through the night? I purchased this AWESOME bed off ebay from a lady thats involved with a dachshund rescue. I attached a pic of Molly sleeping in it, she loves going under the covers! Lauren K. He was a little shy, especially around Lilly, she wanted to play immediately, and he was not too sure of her at first, but he has started getting closer to her and willing to play. He likes Roxie. he wants to get close to her, but Rox is still figuring him out too. He is having fun exploring, but never strays too far. I think in time all three of them are going to be great friends, I can see them warming up to each other already. I have sent you some pictures. You can see the difference in size between Jiro and Lilly in the one picture. Hope you enjoy them. I will send more soon. Once again thank you so much for adding to our family. Didin't realize how small Jiro was.. _____________________________________________________________ Just wanted to let you know Lilly & Jiro had their vet appointment today, and all went well. The vet said they are both looking great. Lilly weighs 3lbs 8oz, and Jiro is at 2lbs 9oz. Lilly was a little shy with the vet, but Jiro wanted to climb on her and lick her face. Everyone in the vets office went crazy over them and how cute they are, and they got to see an adult long hair red dachshund there too. The are getting along great, playing with each other, and sleeping curled up together. Roxie is warming up to them too. Scooby is eating and drinking like a trooper. He has pooped three times for Tommy. He did fuss last night though. Belle didn't fuss at all; she slept in her bed next to me. She has pooped two times (all outside no accidents amazing for such a little girl). She has eaten but I would like her to eat a little more. I won't push it though. I'm so used to my big big dogs eating like the horses they are. My female Tilly wants to play mother but other than that the three of them are doing great together! Just an update on SJ - he's doing good! He is such a sweet little guy, very excellent temperment thus far, although he is a bit barky when he's being demanding (mostly just when he wants to play or get out of his crate)! He is going for his 3rd series of puppy shots tomorrow and a weigh in! He's got to be between 5 and 6 lbs now. He LOVES playing tug of war with his big sis Georgia and wrestling with anyone who will pay him any attention, big or small.

We wanted to let you know that Meadow continues to thrive! She is pure love. We have taught her to sit, lay down and roll over and will continue her training in puppy class starting at the end of the month. She is up to nearly 5 lbs and is growing like a weed. The vet checks and vaccines have gone well so far. Thank you for our lovely girl.

Just wanted to let you know how the evening has gone - Elvis is settling in nicely here. :) He's spent the past few hours roaming the house and yard and getting to know Jersey. Jersey has hardly let him alone though and he seems to be a bit put off by her fowardness. lol! They were buddies right from the start though.
