Ruby is quite the sleeper, she likes to curl up next to her Grandma Audrey here and sleep the day away. She's quite independent and not the clingy type. She is sweet and smart and will alert you if something is going on. She is from Champion bloodlines from UK. He has a black nose, his eyelids are outlined in black and his nail are self colored (clear) with black down the nail shaft. Otto was born with NO shading (No black hairs), he is a clear cream and or pale cream. Otto is a true English cream carrying MANY United Kingdom Dachshunds on his pedigree. He doesn't have even the slightest hint of red on him, which a true cream will not have any red on them. He carries double chinchilla (albino) genes. In 5 generations (parents pedigrees) including 120 Dachshunds originating from United Kingdom, Canada, Japan and the United States. Otto's genetics are as follows 80 of 120 are creams, 20 of 120 are black & tan, 16 of 120 are red and 4 of 120 are chocolate and tan, way off in the distance. Special, Otto's Mom was cream sired. She is listed as a black & tan on her pedigree but, her points look more cream than tan to me. Otto's Dad-call name Buster is full cream with 49 creams out of 60 Dachshunds on his pedigree. Gypsy Rose was born here and is being raised with tender loving care. She is quite the active little girl, always on the move. She is a real busy body, must know what's going on at all times. She is a crowd stopper and everyone's favorite. She is constantly being commented on for her intelligence. She likes to sit like a Meerkat to look far distances. She points like a pointer, at the woods above our house to signal that something lives in there and she knows it. She is a real happy girl, loves to give BIG kisses and can destroy a stuffed toy with incredible pride, the reward "the squeaker'. When I decided to extend my lines and keep Gypsy, I needed a mate for her and that's one of the million good reasons I bought Otto from the Indiana. They are best buddies and compliment one another. This litter will be awesome and I look forward to the outcome. Gypsy Rose has the best of a lot of our dogs of the past and present. She is the daughter of Snicker's and Stella.
