Hi, I'm Bev Dupin and I adopted Sugar a Red Dappled 2 year old Longhaired Dachshund from Marilynn. Sugar and I have formed a amazing bond because of the way she was raised. She was loved and cared for from the moment she was born by a woman who loves the breed. If you are looking the buy a dachshund for you pet you owe it to yourself to buy it from a person who has given their time and energy to breed the best puppies and to insure that when you take them home you will have bought the best of the best from someone who has loved them from the moment they were born till the time you take them to your home. Barbara Laing- Thor
Barbara Laing is a total professional and only gives TLC to her puppies. It was a positive and refreshing experience for Alice and I to meet Barbara who showed so much concern for Thor (Puppy)and us to ensure all concerned would be happy and totally satisfied. Money was not the driver but we would be satisfied and Thor would have a good home and be a valued member of our family. As stated, Barbara sets the standard as a professional and it is a privelege to be the guardians of one of her puppies. None better and one of best that we have met in the business. I recently bought a puppy, Finley, from Barbara and he has been such a joy since bringing him home. It is very obvious that Barbara cared for all of the puppies in a clean, loving home. I was especially impressed with how accommodating she was when I was making arrangements to pick Finley up. I was traveling 5 hours to get him and she made sure I had enough food and puppy pads to get me back to DC. Barbara has also been fantastic in the weeks following my trip to get Finley by responding to emails and checking in on Finley. I would highly recommend LeCaring to those looking to adopt a beautiful, longhaired miniature dachshund!

Perfect puppyMy husband and I recently purchased a black and tan dapple Dachshund from Marilynn at Le Caring's AKC Dachshund. Fritzy is everything promised and more. We were looking for a mini doxie to replace our Ginger who had died a few weeks before at the age of 16 yrs. We immediately liked Mrs. Laing's dogs. Her house was very inviting and clean. Her dogs are all very good natured and friendly. You could tell they were in a loving home. We picked our Blondee from the litter when she was just 3 weeks old. During one of our visits, we decided to also take her brother, Dagwood. These dogs are the most beautiful and friendly dogs I have ever seen. They are very social and very smart. Wonderful Breeder! Highly Recommend! This review is for Barb, Marilynn's business partner. I purchased our puppy "Crosby" from Barb last month as a surprise for my husband. Not only is Crosby incredibly adorable, but he is also the most perfect dog you could ask for! I was a little hesitant about buying a puppy from the internet, but Barb had me at ease from the moment I spoke to her. She is a great communicator and a wealth of knowledge about Doxies. Her puppies are raised in a safe, clean, loving home and the time and effort she takes to care for them in their first few weeks of life, really shows as the puppy grows older. Our puppy is smart, playful, sweet, obedient, and listens wonderfully. Everyone who meets him absolutely loves him! I recommend Barb to anyone who is in search of the perfect puppy!

A BREEDER WHO KNOWS HER PUPPIESI just bought my second family member from Marilynn. My first puppy from her was so wonderful, I just had to have another one. If you are looking for more than "just a breeder," then look no farther. I was willing to wait until another litter for the exact one I wanted, so a few days before pick up time, I asked Marilynn to make sure Button's personality was a good fit for me and Bailey. She very quickly responded that yes, she had no doubts this was the right puppy. She went into detail about why and how she was loving, and above all else, kissy and affectionate. Button has every single quality Marilynn said she did. She knows her puppies. She is a breeder who spends quality time with them. She knows their likes and dislikes, how they will respond in given situations. She makes the perfect fit between puppy and family. It would have been so easy to just sell me the puppy anyway and not care about how she fit in. Once again, thanks Marilynn.

I love my doxie pup! I have always wanted a long haired dachshund. I recently lost one of my dear Corgis and it was time to bring in another member to the family. I contacted Marilynn through her website and she showed me what she had available and also suggested I contact her partner, Barbara Laing, which I did. I went to visit Barbara's litter that afternoon and chose my little guy-Chester. Chester is his litter name, but we think we'll keep it as it suits him so well! Barbara kept me updated with photos through the 4 weeks until he was ready to come "home" and has been very knowledgeable and informative about his care and about the breed in general. Chester has found his place in this family for sure and we love him dearly. He is a real joy, as was working with Barbara throughout the process. Reunited
We bought a puppy off of Marilynn a little over a year ago. We named him Sirus and he ended up being the best puppy ever! He grew up around other puppies but then we got our own house! So we decided it was time for Sirus to get a brother to play with. Luckily, Marilynn was selling his real brother Joey! They both have the same parents, same birthday, everything! We jumped on the offer and we were more than pleased again. We thought he would be a little nervous and scared since he was already comfortable living with Marilynn but, the very first night we brought him home he was walking around and being so lovable! They were also both extremely clean and up-to-date on their medical visits! I know it was hard for Marilynn to let Joey go, but we know it was meant to be. Both Joey and Sirus will receive unconditional love and we will be sure to spoil them! I would recommend Marilynn to anybody! I truly trust her! Thanks so much Marilynn! Marilynn, You're the best!! My husband & I drove 800 miles round trip for our puppies. That's right, I loved Marilynn's care of her dogs and concern, I purchased not one but two puppies. Their names are Ziggy & Zoey and they are just adorable!! They are potty trained, they go into their crate all night, for now, and they love us to death. My other minature doxie is in love with these puppies. He lost his partner, my Rudy in March and has been lost without him. I brought my new puppies home and it's breathed new life back into him. Our puppy already goes potty on the potty pads, and never cried when we put him in his crate the first night. The extra care and time Barb, spent with our puppy really shows. She kept us updated with pictures and email until our puppy was ready to go home. Very Happy in VA. with Candi We bought a puppy from Marilynn on March 17th and we couldn't be happier. Candi has made our home complete and we are so thrilled to have her. This was my first time purchasing a puppy, let alone online. I didn't know what to expect and Marilynn made me feel very at ease through the whole process. Katie!!!! wonderful puppy I purchased a puppy from marilynn on march 15th, 2008. And she was amazing the amount of love and care these puppies get are wonderful. Buttercup We purchased a puppy from Marilynn and we are very happy, Buttercup is our pride and joy, she fits in so well with our other dogs, we also have another longhaired daschund and they get along great, he is our little buddy. I would recommend that anyone looking for a mini longhaired daschund to check out Marilynn's puppy's, she kept in touch with us 3 weeks before we got her and sent us alot of pictures, which was wonderful, we got a gift bag with all kinds of goodies in it which we really appreciated. Dachshund stud service Marilynn recently provided my smooth coat red dapple female a stud. My female was bred with her black and tan long haired male. She was very professional throughout the entire process, and I felt completely at ease leaving my baby in her possession. My female was quite reluctant, but Marilynn was able to get two successful matings. She has a great love for the breed itself, and all of her dogs. She was able to provide me with a lot of helpful information regarding the whelping process. I am hoping to use her service again in the future with a female from my litter that is due May 10, 2008.

One of a kind. Marilynn is not just your ordinary breeder, she truly cares for every puppy she raises. We got a puppy from her back in 2005 and We're looking her up again. great puppiesI have bought one puppy from this breeder and I am buying another one off of her right now. She gives her puppy's a lot of love and care. The dogs are great and I have had no problems with my dog that I already have. Her home is excellent for some one that has many dogs. They have great temperment and are very loving dogs. Very good Dachshund breeder.I bought an AKC red smooth Dachshund from Marilynn awhile ago when she was located in West Newton, Pa. and I have to say she was so good to her puppies. I came and visited Vick often throughout the process of waiting for him to be ready to go and I was always welcome. Marilynn is a very dedicated breeder. Her home was always clean and to be quite honest you wouldn't even know a dog was there if they didn't bark. I could tell the second I got to Marilynn Carraway's house that all of her dogs are well-loved and taken care of. Oscar (listed on here as Darth Vader) is a beautiful little puppy with a shiny coat and clean bill of health from the veterinarian. I would highly recommend Marilynn Carraway when interested in buying a miniature dachshund. She is very knowledgable with the breed and they will definitely come from a loving home. I drove three hours to pick up Oscar and he was worth every mile!!

Excellent Breeder Marilynn Carraway is an excellant breeder. She has some of the best puppies around. She takes great care of her dogs and great care of her puppies. Each puppy is very well socialized and also paper trained when you get your pup from her. The area her dogs are kept in, is clean and well kept. Everyone of her dogs are bright eyed and healthy looking. Each of them have excellant temperments and are very good around people. You can tell this is not just a business for Marilynn, that she loves what she doing and especially loves every one of her dogs. I have purchase four Dachshunds from her and each one of them are awsome dogs. If I decide to go for another, Marilynn will be the one I buy from. I have known her for a couple of years now since getting my dogs and she has never had any of her pups left behind. They have always been sold to good home. Good job Marilynn, I give you a 5 star rating. Thanks for the great care you give these dogs.

Tank Meister von Klinglehutz My husband and I first saw little Hutz when he was 9 days old. We fell in love with him immediately. On May 12 we got to pick him up. We are delighted with this puppy. He is beautifully dappled and very smart. He was not with us 24 hours when he came when called, so we are anticipating a very easy training. Our breeder, Marilynn Carraway, sent us many pictures of our puppy We were also able to see his sire and his dame as well as his other little brother and three sisters. Our little boy came with a very thoughful and useful puppy package including blanket, toys, food, as well as complete medical records and AKC full registration. Marilynn contacted us the next day to make sure we were satisfied with our decision. I highly recommend this breeder. She has albums of pictures of the puppies she has bred which she shows with an understandable pride. Our little guy is a precious bundle, and we would purchase from Marilyn again and again.

Dawn Downs(Niagara Falls, New york) is a special lady, she waited a very long time to get Mocha from us & stayed faithful in knowing that she would get exactly what she wanted. Dawn was a pleasure to work with! Dawn truly believes in us & Mocha was certainly worth her wait. A match made in heaven!! Mocha's litter was delivered by emergency c-section on 6-11-08. Dawn writes me this postcard for Mocha, now I know my pups are smart but, Mocha just needed some help because she doesn't have thumbs, lol. I just cried when I read it, I'm so passionate about my babies, it just jerked at my heart strings. I Miss you Mocha!!!! (read below)
